Ana Saul-Sykes, J.D.

Ana received an A.B. degree in International Relations from Brown University in 1986, as well as a J.D. Cum Laude from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2007. Currently serving as Director of Admission for Special Programs, Ana has been helping with the decision process for new incoming Brown students, transfers, and Resumed Undergraduate Education (RUE) candidates for over 30 years. Her current geographic responsibilities include Rhode Island, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Ana is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the RI Association of Admission Officers (RIAAO), and a former member of the Seekonk Library Trust. A proud mom of two, Ana has survived the college application process with her two daughters, and loves sharing her knowledge and personal experiences with other anxious parents.

Gena has guided hundreds of students through the ever-changing world of college admissions with enthusiasm, proven expertise, and patience. With a B.A. in Christian Education, Gena began her career in education as a private school administrator for a K-8 academy. During her 14 years at the school, Gena completed four advanced degrees, including a Master’s in Education with an emphasis in higher education and an M.S. in Psychology with an emphasis in industrial and organizational psychology, both at Capella University. She is the creator of the “U-Niquely-U” formula, which guides each student to find their perfect fit and best match in the college selection process. She is also an international best-selling author, speaker, and thought leader in the college admissions space, as well as a mom to three college graduates.

Working in admissions since 2016, Keaton is a graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in English. He wears many hats in his office, including Office of Undergraduate Studies Scholar Program Lead, Multicultural Recruitment Team member, and coordinator of the Admission Ambassador Program. He has traveled and recruited in a variety of territories. Over the past two years, Colgate University has seen record-breaking application numbers, most recently with a 100%+ increase from 2019.

As President, Katy oversees our StudyPoint operations while working closely with families to identify and address their academic tutoring, SAT/ACT preparation, and admissions support needs. This includes understanding your child’s academic history and working with you to identify which instructor on our staff will be the right match for your child’s unique personality.
Before joining StudyPoint in 2010, Katy spent 13 years in the world of education, including six years as a Regional Director for SCORE! Educational Centers and five years as a 4th and 5th grade classroom teacher in a public school. She holds a B.S. in Child Psychology from Yale and a Master’s in Elementary Education from Lesley University, and she currently serves on the boards of several non-profits.
