Research has continued to show that students across all grade levels experience summer learning loss or the "summer slide." Our thoughtfully-designed, structured programs are built to keep students learning through the summer and make sure they are prepared to hit the ground running in the fall!
Academic Enrichment (all grades)
Our programs build students' skills by providing academic enrichment through a structured, customizable program. We offer Enrichment Courses in all core academic subjects -- from math & science to writing, English, and foreign languages -- for students in Kindergarten through college!
Our Summer Programs
Study Skills & Executive Function (grades 5+)
Our Study Skills & Executive Functioning Support program helps students build study and self-advocacy skills they need to feel confident and excel academically. We cover key skills such as: time management, goal setting, organizational skills,
note-taking, effective reading, test preparation and test-taking skills.
Summer Writing
(grades 5+)
Our Summer Writing Program is designed to help students develop their writing skills in a fun and engaging environment. We teach fundamental writing skills through a proprietary curriculum focused on different genres of writing, such as descriptive writing, developing character sketches, composing a persuasive essay, analyzing literature, and more.
SAT/ACT/PSAT Prep
(grades 9-12)
Our flagship test prep programs are built on our propietary curriculum including practice tests, homework assignments, and proven lesson exercises. We focus on a mix of content, strategies, and timing & pacing to ensure student success. We offer an industry-leading score increase guarantee and the oversight of a dedicated program manager.
Phonics-Based Reading Support
(grades K-3)
Our Science-of-Reading based program covers all areas of skill development, from phonemic awareness to vocabulary and comprehension. The program uses a multi-sensory approach, including interactive letter tiles through our innovative online format. We supplement Barton with a range of proven materials to address other areas such as reading comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency.

1:1 CUSTOMIZED INSTRUCTION
​Lessons range from 50 min - 2 hours, 1-4 times per week based on student need and schedule. We offer sessions during the day, as well as evenings and weekends.
